On my 90 gst i was only planning on doing a few mods, not to interested in making a ton of horsepower. One mod i did want to do was a step. I dont want to do anyhing to my Ecu or anything like that. What options do i have for something that wires into the ignition.

MSD ignition box with a timing retard.I beleive the msd7AL has that option,but the easiest way is thru a chip(eprom required) or dsmlink.The MSD route might cost near the same as a socketed ECU.

^x2 agreed. The eprom route is cheaper with features.
