Ok so I got a 1g eclipse GSX. Its an auto trans, and its getting a huuuugeee makeover. Huge turbo, massive front mount, upgraded fuel system, all the goodies. My question to you my dear forum goers, should I 2-step? Being an auto AWD, would there be a need for it? I just want to get the best launch times I can.

i would say no, two step can only be used in neutral....you dont want to tear up your tranny, by neutral dropping it, any faster than putting power adders already would.

On a good brake boost, out of the 16g I have in the car already, what do you think would be my PSI at a launch?

Two steps are for manual cars to build boost and launch consistently. For an automatic car a torque converter would be what you need to help off line performance. With a 16g, a stock converter should still allow good take off with out the expense of a performance unit. But if you go to a larger turbo you will need to upgrade. I'm not sure how much boost you will leave with because each car is different. It will depend on your set-up and your tune.

nah.... no 2step. its great for 5spd but its just really wasting your money. u'll be boosting with your brake and that alone will be fine!
