clutch safety switch and my cruise control still works

Cruise will still work. It just will not disengage when you press the clutch now.

It sounds like you're happy with it not cutting out & just shift quick hey.
You can use the 2 clutch contacts with a momentary button if you like.
Meaning you setup a button anywhere you like & can hit it to coast at will
without needing to hit the brake !
I set this up on all aftermarket cruise controls. Set, resume, coast.
I have set up one car with 2 brains, 2 switch boxes, 1 vac controll.
With this you can set 2 speeds, you have 2 resumes & 1 common coast.

no when i put the clutch in it disengages how it should and my cruise turns off.
