clutch replacement

hello my clutch just went out. i no other car how hard is it to replace your clutch and how long would it take

Depends...How long does it take you to take off the transfer case, tranny, passenger tire/axle? Could be anywhere from an hour to 4 hours depending on if you know what you are doing.

Check the VFAQs it's very involved specially if you have never done it before.
You have to drop the transmission, bleed the clutch correctly after everything is back in, etc.

Look into a good aftermarket clutch (and flywheel, if you'd like) and try to line up a ride with someone else if you need to go anywhere for a couple days. It's not so much difficult as it is involved, and time consuming for us new guys. There's a VFAQ for it. I just left my axle in on the passenger side because I didn't have a pry bar long enough to pop it loose. (Not completely sure a 2G guy can do that.) Just replaced the axle 100 miles ago so I guess we did a good job there.

The most difficult part to this point has been getting the transmission out. That's as far as I've gotten, but the only other not-so-fun part will probably be putting it back in and getting it lined up.
