I am removing my clutch pedal assembly to change the bushings etc.. but I can't get the damn assembly out. It is all unbolted, I have the brake booster propped away from the firewall, but I can't get it out. Can I unscrew the rod to the brake cylinder/booster? If I could get the rod out of the way I could rotate it out... I really would like some help with this I hate this job and its annoying as hell!
Thanks in advance!

I didn't have much difficulties removing the brake booster. Here's what I did, I hope it works for you.

1. Disconnect/remove clevis bolt
2. Disconnect/remove brake lines
3. Disconnect/remove brake line clamps
4. remove 14 mm nuts that holds the booster
5. Carefully remove the booster

*Once the brake lines where removed. It was easier to pull the booster out. I'm pretty sure you can do it with just the lines disconnected.

It's easier to remove the assembly with the booster and steering column removed. I don't think the FAQ mentioned that either. It took me no longer than 1.5 hours to remove the pedal assembly.

Your probably going to have to remove the booster. I had the same exact problem your having and i took the booster out and i twisted the pedal assembly right out.
