2G clutch housing retainer / Throw out bearing sleeve

Hey guys, I got this 96 GSX that I'm replacing the clutch on, and the sleeve the TOB rides on (MD716349) is pretty messed up, and it appears the sleeve is discontinued and I can't find it anywhere.

I saw a post from January of 2024 https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/2g-awd-trans-input-shaft-sleeve.545599/ where jacks still had them available, but not any more. I was hoping someone out there has a solution for this because otherwise I'm SOL. Here are some pics of what I'm dealing with, and this is after polishing some, which isn't fixing those gouges , and you cant really tell from the pics but the sleeve feels like the diameter changes in a few areas (Note: I bought this car as a non-running project, shame on me...)

That doesn't look that bad to me. If an oem TOB rides on it cleanly I'd run it.

Agree. Use some Honda motorcycle Moly 60 paste as a lubricate on it to allow the TOB to slide easily on it.

If it doesn't bind, it's fine and I wouldn't bother. RA seems to still have them though.

Man you're good! Thank you! Yeah when i get the new tob on i'll see how it glides. The only thing id be concerned is if the bulges/oblongness of some areas would affect how it slides without me knowing. Because i can feel it bump in and back out in a spot or two

You can probably fix that with some emery cloth.

Yeah i'm definitely going to try and make it usable, so i'll try that out. Thanks!
