Wow, haven't been on here in a long time.

Anyway, about a week ago my clutch started making a grinding/scraping noise as I released the pedal back up and it's very difficult to switch gears.

Fluid level is fine.
Pedal adjustment is fine.

Fidanza 6 puck clutch.
Fidanza LW flywheel.

Any ideas playas?

I have two ideas. First , the clutch disc can spit out a spring from the hub and jam it up. Second, the mounting bolts for the tranny could be loose or missing. The flywheel can scrape the transfer case on awd when the engine/transmission separate some. Tres...

I'm going to go with the clutch spit a spring out.

It's pretty unlikely that all of the sudden your transmission bolts just backed themselves out.

Now the clutch won't shift at all and with the car off it barely shifts. Mother####er. If it is the spring pop out this is going to be the 2nd time. :( Happened on my ACT 2600 before this clutch.

I bought a new slave cylinder today and I'll swap that out and see if that helps. If not, I'm gonna drop the tranny. I'll keep you updated guys.

Sounds like the disk itself is causing issues, or you grenaded your pressure plate.

The same thing is happening to me right now and happened almost 2 years ago. My Spec clutch ended up spitting a spring out. I've read that it could be caused by an alignment issue between the engine and transmission.

Yup, spring popped out of the disk and destroyed the flywheel too. Woohoo!

My flywheel survived thankfully, and I ended up getting my clutch rebuilt for ~$160

Alright another problem:

New spec clutch and flywheel is in. Slave extension rod is in. Clutch bled.

It's driveable, but the clutch is engaging RIGHT off the floor and it's difficult to shift.

But what is confusing is that the clutch pedal is adjusted ALL THE WAY OUT.

What teh #### is going on?!
