I know there are many threads out there about this, but 99% of them have 'search for other threads as their answers' and the 1% that has good answers I have tried their possible solutions to no avail.
My problem is this, everytime I go to start the car I can't get it into gear and if I try to turn the car over when it's in gear, it jerks forward at (what I assume is) the speed of the starter spinning. I obviously have a disengagement problem with the clutch. I know what the problem is, and I have run out of ideas on how to fix this problem.
Things I have already done;
-New master/slave cylinder
-New throw-out bearing
-Adjusted the pushrod on the master cylinder that connects to the pedal (all the way both ways)
-Retapped (oversized) holes so the tranny can't push itself off the motor
-Fully bleed the clutch (4 times now!!!)
I have heard these things may be the problem;
-Spring/washer stuck between the clutch and pressure plate
-Clutch fork needs to be shimmed (no clue how to do that)
If anyone could please give me some ideas or describe how to 'shim' a shift fork, I'd greatly appreciate it!!!!
