I was driving home from work, no problems; got off the highway, shifted into 2nd as I accelerated away and noticed the clutch felt weird, almost spongy. Got to the next stop, it felt ok, but then as I got closer to home I sensed alot of vibration in the clutch pedal and it didn't seem to be disengaging very well. Got it home and now it refuses to disengage at all. Drivetrains aren't really my thing so I'm fairly lost. Any ideas on what I should check? Clutch fluid was full and I can't find any leaks or anything under the car or under the dash. :sosad:

Oh yeah and to try and toss in some more symptoms: The car felt like it was vibrating more after it started acting up. And while I was in my driveway (trying to get the car into gear no doubt), the rear end was makin quite a bit of noise... :notgood:

Read bro he said it was full! Lol and try bleeding your clutch line you might have air in the line? Alot of air?

How many miles on clutch?

10-15k, and equally as many on the TRE rebuilt transmission. I know it's a cheap duralast clutch though (last owner :toobad:). Some folks on another board I frequent suggest it might be the TOB. Any way to test the master/slave cylinders and that jazz? I really hope I don't have to tear the trans out

Pulled the boot back on the slave cylinder and there was some fluid, also checked the master cylinder and it appeared as though it was leaking very slowly (glassy/liquidy looking on the bottom). I had my dad push the pedal though and the rod seemed to be pushing the fork just fine so must there be another issue besides those two leaking? WTF

got the transmission off today, not sure what is wrong but im not really sure what anything is sposed to look like anyways LOL. 1 pic is how i found it, theres a pic of the TOB in my hand, and a pic of the fork by itself. the fork doesnt seem bent or scarred in any way, and when i push the fork it seems to make the tob travel up the splines just fine. so i dont see whats wrong...

I've been having the same problem on my "recently purchased" dsm. I turn the key in any gear and the car rolls forward. Slve cylinder is newer, clutch is new, no leaks. Could it possibly be the clutch pedal assembly?
