Clutch compatibility

Hey guys,
I just had a quick question will this fendeza 8 lbs flywheel and 515 hp rated clutch for 1997 gst eclipse be able to work on a 90 talon FWD? Here is a link to the guys CL posting

Ive researched this on the forum a little. It seems I would be able to use this in my talon as all turbo clutch's are interchangeable.

The clutch would, but the flywheel would be a 7-bolt FWD flywheel; you will need a 6-bolt FWD flywheel.

I would also stay away from running a used clutch, especially if it is not matched to the flywheel. You will have clutch wear problems if you try to run it on a different flywheel.

Do it right, and purchase either a new or resurfaced flywheel and a new clutch. You will have a much easier life this way.

Another thing is the clutch for sale is a 6 puck clutch. I'm assuming you're looking for a clutch for your N/T which is a daily driver. A 6 puck (from what I've read) will not be enjoyable with a daily driver. Also, I don't think you have a real need for a clutch of that caliber.

There are plenty of setups out there so look around and try to find something with a street disc, unless you absolutely want to have a puck.

The clutch is for my 1st gen talon tsi. Fully built motor running FP red turbo looking to put down around 450 to the wheels. I have an ACT 2600 but that got burned out from 2 stepping over time. I really wanted a unsprung but saw this guys post on craigslist and figured I ask about it.

I'd say either 2600 pressure plate and Southbend disc (ask twicks about it - he sold me) or go twin disc. Or possibly the Fidanza 4.3.
