2G Cluster Brake warning light

My brake light has been on for a long time and it is finally starting to drive me crazy. I have checked the following:

Added brake fluid.

I disconnected the light from the hand-brake and it stayed on so I'm pretty sure that isn't the cause.

I just had my tires rotated and the guys at the shop said my pads seemed fine.

Any suggestions on what could be triggering the light? I'm out of ideas.

my guess would be a faulty low level sensor. check with you local auto parts place , i know advance has it. check with some of the supporting vendors here also.

thanks for the advice. I'll try replacing the sensor and see what happens.
