instrument cluster warning light, what is this one?

ok, kinda a stupid question, on my 95 tsi the tent looking warning light came on, its on the right side, first one in the second column. i have no idea what its for, the car barely runs at idle, or dies. this light came on on my 93 n/t a while back, cleaned the air filter and it went away. i took the k&n right off this one and nothin, still runs like crap at low rpm's. i checked the net and couldnt find anything, my manual doesnt show arything either so i have no clue. any ideas please let me know.

i bought a new thermostat for her a while ago because the heat was messed up last winter, when i was looking at her idle and chug i noticed the pulleys on the water pump were wabbling a bit.... good indication the pump is bad maybe? thanks. john

You are low on coolant.

When the pump fails, it pukes coolant everywhere. I would deal with a wobbling pulley on something that important right away if I were you.

well, i put the new thermostat and an almost new radiator (the one that was in the car had fan housings that are cracked up) tomorrow i will put a dif water pump on, just my luck 2 weeks ago i picked up another 95 tsi for 350 bucks (crank pulley seperated and took timing belt with.... 13 bent, 2 good and one broke valve) so if anyone has some good 2g valves and a piston let me know please.... anyway, i'll post after i get the pump in tomorrw the outcome. thanks again, john
