Okay, I've searched the forums, and haven't found anything close to the problem I'm having, atleast, nothing solid. But what I've identified as the problem, may be of some help to others.

So, when I start the car and put it into reverse, sometimes into drive, I hear a pretty harsh (sometimes you can barely hear it) clunk coming from the front passenger wheel area. It doesn't do it while shifting through gears. When I make U-turns, or left turns and hit a bump, or drive through a bumpy area, the clunking occurs. :idontknow: It's almost like a metallic, clunk-pop, kind of sound. Hard to describe. I'm uploading some pictures to illustrate the area(s) I'm talking about. :thumb:
Everything regarding the front suspension components check out. I had it inspected by a former DSM tech (All he ever worked on were '90-'99 Eclipses and Talons at a Mitsubishi Dealership :hellyeah: ). At first, :banghead: he couldn't figure it out, untill we started poking and prodding! :aha: Appearently, the clunk when shifting out of park happens because of the initial force being transferred to the wheels, and it causes the broken housing for the Upper Control Arm Shaft to slam. The pictures should explain. ANY IDEAS!?!?!? Anyone else ran into this problem!?!?!? :idontknow:

P.S. From what I've gathered so far, the "housing" that the Shaft rests in ISN'T supposed to break!

Don't know if the photos will upload or not, but here's a link to the page they are uploaded to: Flickr: ThatFordGuy87's Photostream I know, I know, the name. I'm a Sales & Leasing Consultant at a Ford Dealership in Starke, Florida.
