Thanks ya'll
Frank

i had it up on the jacks earlier and i checked them both an they both seem that they were bother very sturdy, i was wrenching on both of them to try an recreat the sound but i couldnt get it to

^^^^ ughhhhhh dont tell me that i just fixed 2 bad solenoid in my auto trans now possiably my ball joints, i cant win but i guess thats what i get for buying a 15yr old car with 187k on it right

yup i checked everything it was all nice an tight, like i said i couldnt recreat the sound it makes while i had it up on jacks, i know when i had my Evo X it did the same thing but the strut was just loose, i also checked them an they were tight too, im not really in the mood to dish out money on ball joints its just taking money away from my mods LOL

Mine makes a clunk when hitting bumps as well. I have check everything in the front end I could think of and havent found it yet. Good luck tracking it down. FYI to check your ball joints jack the car up and try to pry them apart. You probably wont be able to move them by hand. Also make sure both tires are up so the sway bar is relaxed

Thanks y'all I'm bringing her to my friends shop today he said its probably a ball joint as well so I'm gonna have him replace both sides just to be safe and so I ain't gotta go back an do the other side in like a month or two. And I might as well just start fixing everything in the drivetrain until my motor is complete and I can just drop it in

Okay well got it some what figured out , it seems to be that the front sway bar keeps pushing towards the drivers side by about an inch, and then as I hit a bump it sarts to tap on the knuckle, the sway bar needs new bushings I think so I'm gonna get them done but the wheel bearing on te passenger side is bad and is gonna run me about 150 bucks So now I just need to find out why the sway bar is sliding to the drivers side lets just hope new bushings fix that

Yea man just keep chipping away at the problems, just sounds like maintenance items, so just take your time and get it done. You will be happy having the new parts in there for when you drop that new motor in.

Did you find the problem?

When you have the front wheels in the air, its always a good idea to check for play by shaking the tire from the sides as well as the top and bottom in and in and out direction. Any looseness at all should be addressed. May need 2 people so one can look at the suspension while you move the wheel assembly.

yes we did find the problem, going to be putting in some new sway bar bushings and ###### those collars hopefully everything works out good, trying to get s**T figured out with my engine build keep gettin 1000 diff anwsers
