** Edit ** Fixed, see last post.

My car is making a clicking noise when accelerating. It only does it when it's in gear, and appears to be happening during boost. It started after I got my exhaust changed. It doesn't happen when cruising, only accelerating. And it doesn't happen if I accelerate very slowly.

Any ideas what it could be? It seems to be coming from the front of the car.

And here's a video of normal driving - No noise. It only happens when accelerating.

Downshift - No noise (there is paper blowing around in this video and my blinker is on (not the problem noise)

EDIT

Pics the exhaust shop sent me when the car was done.

you can also put the car on jackstands, put it in gear, and look under it
thinc it will reveal if driveshaft rubs exhaust

This sounds like it would certainly identify the problem, but no way in hell am I laying underneath a car on 4 jackstands while it's in gear. :p

I couldn't get to it this week, hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to jack it up and see if I can find what is making contact.

My money's on that magniflow resonator, looks to have a few places were it could make contact with either the drive shaft or the diff. And nosies thru the driveline can travel and seem like they are in front.

I'll definitely take a good look around there.

On the video it sounded like you do have a exhaust leak but cant really tell. Exhaust is hitting or your "U" joints are giving up. They will "click" under load.

Fixed! I can't believe I missed this in the original pics. It was rubbing here against the heat shield or whatever that is. I just bent it back, problem solved!
