Click Start Problem

Alright just did a complete engine build on my Galant, go to fire it up tonight and all i get is a clicking sound...sounds like its comming from the ecu area.

Also I dont hear the fuel pump priming.

Now when i turn the key all the lights go out like normal, but my 4ws sensor flashes the batter, seatbelt and several other lights.

Any ideas as to what this could be, radio and lights in the front come on...so i dont think its a dead battery, just kinda lost at the moment, thanks

That is usually what a battery does when it is dead and can't kick over the starter. Have you tried hooking jumper cable's up to charge the battery quick?

that happened to me i just replaced the battery and spark plug wires and now it works fine

this was also the problem, it wasnt holding a charge...this is the fuse out of it, well what was left
