I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. A few years ago I picked up one of zaklee's clear cam covers, one of the first batches iirc. After all this time, it's fogged up badly. Has anyone refurbed their cam gear cover?

I'll have one of my employees go at it with a headlight restorer, if that doesn't work, I'll probably just buy another one.

Go to a local body or detail shop and ask them if they would just buff it up for you. As long as it's not scratched and it's just hazy, then regular buffing compound should brighten it back up. I restore tail lights and other things at our shop using buffing compound.

where can you get one of these clear cam covers????? and would they fit on a 420A 2g engine???? ### that just sounds awesome!

Street tuned motorsports is where I purchased mine. They do not make one for the 420A engine. I googled and did some searching for you and came up with nothing.

Mine has not gone hazey but it did crack on the 2 bolt holes, so i sent him an email and he replaced it for me free, it should not go hazey unless you put some cleaner on it! Shoot him an email and see if he can help or any ideas on it
