what is a safe way to clean out the MAF in a 2g turbo? i pulled mine out for the new filter install, and i can see dirt and little grimey things on the honeycomb, i dont want any of that in my new turbo. also how to do remove the loswer honeycomb?

Whatever you use to clean it dont use water..LOL...i did that when i first got my car and learned my lesson about that.

Brake clean spray you get at parts stores works very well. If you find it get the kind that evaporates the fastest and leaves no residue

I just used a shop rag and some compressed air.
Seems to be the safest way,,Unless you have really caked on gunk or something
