Cleaning Out 2G Oil Cooler?

Okay, well I am about finished assembling my long block but had a question about the stock oil cooler, keep in mind I have no intention of running a external oil cooler.. The motor previously spun a bearing and I don't know if I need to get a new cooler ( can not find one for the life of me) or just get it hot tanked?

If anyone has a suggestion please fill me in!

The filter should have intercepted any bearing metal.
Give it a flush with cleaning solvent. If you don't have a tank, stop by a shop and ask them to do it.

Agreed, and it shouldnt be that hard finding another oil cooler with all the 2g guys switching to external oil cooler setups. Hell I got one sitting around.
