Is it possible to clean an O2 sensor?
I just upgraded my turbo, exhaust manifold, and O2 housing. I couldn't get my O2 sensor off my old housing. I'm using a used O2 sensor that my friend had. Everything is installed and car runs fine but the check engine light comes and goes. The check engine light is for the O2 sensor.
Anybody ever tried cleaning their O2 sensor or can it even be cleaned without messing up the sensing material inside? If you have cleaned it before with success; what did you used to clean it?
Thanks
