well after they sent my mechanic the wrong part he came to my house on wednesday and replaced the headgasket, all the seals, water pump temp switch , thermostat, plugs, oil, coolant, powersteering belt. all in 10 hours.

well now my car runs like a champ :). i'm just waiting for the smell of antifreeze that spilled over to go away. it feels so nice having my car back finally after like a week of not having a car!

another ? is well i cleaned my header before turning it on cause it was real dirty from him doin all the work. well it seems that he probably added some antifreeze and some of it spilled on the header and i didnt notice and now there are spots and a lil rainbowing on them  is there any way of getting rid of this? if i shine it with some stainless steel polish will that help?

Are your headers mild steel or stainless steel? And i'm not familiar, do 420a's have a heat shield over them?

Stainless Steel polish should take it off. It might take a little elbow grease though because the header probably baked it on there.
