fitchburg,
ok guys i rebuilt my center diff and put tranny back together then i installed a center force dual friction with a center force throw out bearing. after everything installed start car fine but when clutch is released a loud clanking noise happens. any thoughts? I'm thinking the throw out bearing came off the shift fork and is moving. also no noise when clutch is engauged. it is very loud.

thanks

mine does that with the stocker.i think its normal, just clutch chatter.but check just to make sure.

well seems like it was the slave cylinder so i replaced it and claking noise is gone. so i go for a drive, it goes into reverse smooth, 1st smooth shift into 2nd grind, drive in 2nd stays grinding, stop go back home.when parked 3rd and 5th hard to get in when shifting through gears parked. any ideas on the 2nd grinding while driving, i know while shifting is probaly sycros
fix one thing something else breaks :thumbdown
