2G circuit board around ignition

I recently had my 96 Tsi broken in to. Well first the motor is out of the car being replaced(haha on him) well the broke off the top of the steering column off, and and messed up the key hole up a little bit, but there was a circuit board of some sort there as well. and was broken was wondering if anyone knows what this does. Does it control the horn, or cruise control, or wipers, blinkers just curious if anyone knows

Probably cruise control and wiper control contacts. Get another switch assembly off eBay.

Thank you sir, now just need to find a new ignition switch thats not all messed up....or maybe puch button start?

Update, it does control the wipers. i lost cruise control during the 5spd swap. and its now fixed and works as should
