choppy rev

I installed a new tranny on my 95 talon tsi and removed the egr , canister and all vaccum lines and on my first start up car idles fine then when I try to rev it to 2000-2500 it revs but very sluggish need help no boost leaks but its running like it has one

Check your maf and make sure it's plugged in good and you don't have a pre turbo leak.

By check maf you mean what . its plugged in and its clean and couplers are tight and Evey line is where it needs to be . is there a way check thru link v3

Yes that's what I ment. Is the car running lean or rich when you try and rev it?

When its at idle on the wideband its running very lean 18.0 + flatlines the wideband so I shut it off when I rev it goes rich

Does it have a hard time starting? Also unplug your maf and see if it changes any thing. Check voltage at tps as well.

It fires rite up no problem and yes it does make a difference with maf unplugged .idles bad unplugged but plug it back idles fine but still wicked lean

When you did the blt how many psi did you get in the system?

Never actually did a BLT cause I've never had one and how could one come out the the blue if the car just sat for a few weeks

From doing the egr and emissions delete. Did you take the egr valve off and put a block off plate on?

I removed the canister only and looped the egr but I figured looping it would work I ordered the plate should have it in a few days

I would do a blt just to be 100%.

Did the blt found a few leaks but the cause of the choppy rev was the firing order on my spark plug wires was mixed up car is good now thanks again for the help ....god damn spark plug wires

Glad u got it figured put
