Choosing the right sized turbo for a street car

OK, as of now, I have a b16g on my car that the previous owner upgraded to. I own a volkswagen corrado race car, which i recently had to part out, but I still have a few parts off of it, inlcuding the turbo, wastegate, avcr boost controller, etc. Ok, I was thinking of running my gt40 turbo on my 1g talon. Anyone know if this turbo is too big? It made about 18psi at 4500rpm on my vr6, and 435 on 18psi. I would like to use it, as I would not have to buy another turbocharger. As far as a manifold concerns, I would go with the revhard t4 manifold. Let me know. It has a .81AR exhaust housing on it right now, i might switch it out for a .68 or something a little smaller. But it also has the 88mm wheel. They rate it good for 750hp. t4 flanged and 3" v-band discharge. Here are some pictures of the exact turbo.

People have different tastes for what is streetable.. I personally wouldn't go larger than a GT30 or 60-1. If you are going to use that GT40, I'd heavily consider going 2.3L first. Also, check out DNP's T4 tubular headers.. www.dnperformance.com

I had a GTI VR6 on direct port so I know from where you come from with the whole VR6 thing. Anyway, remember the VR6 is a 2.8L 6 that moves a lot more air so running a full frame T4 *IS* streetable on a VR6 but on a talon with 2.0L and 4 cylinders your not gonna see spool until 5500rpm and if your revving to 7500 it's not gonna be much fun at all.

Honestly I ran a T3/T04E 50Trim on my talon and it was good with a .63a/r stage 3 wheels. An .82 on a full frame T4 isn't gonna be that great on a 2.0L It will make massive power up top but it's gonna suck on the street pretty bad.

yeah, im very uncertain as if i want to run this turbo or not. i was thinking of putting this on, and seeing how the characteristics are on the 4g63. if it is too laggy, i will just swap it out for a smaller t4 turbo with same housings etc.
