So guys, I found out not too long ago that i have a chunk missing from my harmonic balancer about an inch is chipped off. Ill post some pics. It doesn't seem to affect the belt, do you think I should replace it or is it fine to drive like that?

If that is the portion that runs the alternator/waterpump, then replace it with a new OEM unit or an aftermarket solution along the lines of a Fluidamper. Better to do it soon before it shreds a belt leaving you stranded.

If that is the section that runs the A/C, remove the belt until you can replace it.

It also introduces a weight differential in your balancer. The higher the RPMs, the worse the force will get. Change it asap. This is not maintenance you want to put off.

I'm also wondering how did it chip? Was it during removal or did something hit it, like road debris? hmm

Im not sure actually

Replace it, ASAP! Mine came apart, threw part of the belt into the timing housing. Jumped time, bent valves, time to rebuild. Trust me- replace that sucker.
