Ok i did some research and site searching and couldn't find a definitive answer so i am gonna ask here. Just to make sure before i burn up money for a part that don't fit my car.. Perhaps a dumb question but will a 2g eclipse fit a 2g talon? both turbo 2.0 4g63t engines??

I only ask because if i buy the harmonic balancer from autozone and tell them i need it for my 96 talon tsi its Dorman part number 594-276 $262 but if i buy it for a 2g eclipse same year, turbo engine, same everything but different part number "for some odd reason" its only Dorman part Number: 594-106 $79.99

i don't see why the 2 prices are so different both parts look identical and i know the engines are the same .. needless to say its got me puzzled any help would be appreciated... Thanks

here is a pic to explain

Thats crazy, dont know why its a different price, they are the same part. Just order the one for the eclipse.

thanks man yeah i figured they were the same .. probably about 80% just needed someone elses input.. i wasn't sure if the pulleys were maybe smaller or something or the center crank shaft hole was bigger/smaller just kinda weird it being the same part with such a huge difference in price thanks again

I don't know the future plans for your talon, but I would just spend the money on the fliudampr. Considering the harmonic balancer is a main factor in bearings and crankshaft problems.

ATI is the best IMO but very expensive and only needed If you plan on making a lot of power

i ended up buying the dorman harmonic dampner/balancer / CRANK PULLEY believe me i would of went with the fluid dampner if i had that kinda money to burn but anyways after the "lady" at auto zone fought with me for 30 minutes trying to tell me the eclipse crank pulley that was almost 200 dollars cheaper then the talon crank pulley wouldn't fit my talon even tho i told her it was the exact same engine and the exact same pulleys but no stubborn lady had to be right anyways i bought the eclipse one just got it today and put it on.. went on perfect did not have not one issue with belts or alignment .. NOTHING... worked out great. thanks everybody for helping me out in the right direction..
