Ivan's GTR is not a drag car, and Devin & crew were having a damn good time. They will most definitely be back, so will the other vendors, the "rich guys" as well as a lot of the more common cars that were kicking ass.
The only true drag car that showed up was the Turbo T/A and if you'll notice he didn't fare so well.. I'm guessing too short rear gear and not able to grab on the concrete.
What's wrong with an airport wanting to make money for hosting the event? Suspending flight ops for a weekend doesn't come cheap and it provides us with a place to race that's not a public street or highway and doesn't require going through a sanctioning body like NHRA or ECTA who would not have let any of the cars there run 200mph as equipped.
If you are that cynical, keep in mind no one is forcing you to go.

I said nothing was wrong with it and I will be at the Atlanta 1/2 mile event in sept. Don't get me wrong I am all for it! take those shoes off and reread my post.
