Ok I've searched this topic a few times and haven't been able to find anything good, I have a 6 bolt 1g motor in my 96 talon and I was informed that if you are driving under I think it was 3K rpms the ECU checks for random miss fire and due to the fact that the firing order is changed when you swap a 1g motor in to a 2g it cause the car to mess up and shut off 1 cyclinder or something and the only way to fix it is disconnect the battery to reset the ECU. Now my question is, Is there anyway to stop this from happening period? Or is it something that cannot be corrected, cause in order to keep my gas mileage good I like to keep the rpms lower while im driving especially in the city.
