Sry if this is a repost, i searched but could not find anything similar. My check engine light came on after i installed my greddy BOV which is vented. Is it because it's not recirculated? also will i not beable to pass inspection because of the check engine light?

I doubt your CEL is on due to the fact that your venting your BOV into the atmosphere. Check to ensure are the cables & connections near the BOV area are plugged in and snug. It could be a non-continuous monitor that's causing the CEL to illuminate so try re-setting your ECU. If all else fails, get/rent/borrow a scanner.

Yeah, my primary o2 went bad. The easiest way you can check if it's your primary o2 is if you have a A/F guage. Mine read lean all the time when my primary o2 was bad (since you generally tap the A/F guage into the primary o2 wiring. A bad primary o2 shouldn't cause those types of problems-just over-richness and poor gas mileage (which is bad enough). Also, ensure the adjustment screw on top of the BOV isn't loose (which only results in a poor idle and engine stuttering after shifts-just FYI). If it's a Type S Bov, RE-CIRCULATE IT! :thumb:
