check engine shift light

I'm currently running ecm link v3 in my 98 gsx. The check engine light is set up as a shift light but only turns on at 3500 rpms. how would i be able to change when it turns on im looking to set it to 7500-7600.

Ive seen this setup on the ABS dummy light since its not very useful, may I ask what your using as a CEL if its your shift light?

To set it up correctly, and I suggest NOT using your CEL to shift do the following...

Depending on what your using to activate the shift light (EGR or FPS) go into the settings in dsmlink and set your desired parameters. You'll enable the user defined settings by checking the box and doing the following...

Activate when:7500 <= RPM <=12000
And: 0 <= Load Factor <= 0
And: 0 <= TPS (%) <= 100
And: 0 <= Speed (mph) <= 200
And: 0 <= Knock <= 20​

It was hooked up to the cel when I bought the car. I'm going to change it over to the abs light. Thanks for the help

Sure. You can even change it to a LED and mount it on that blank switch under your rear window defogger.

Wow nice idea. I think I am gonna mod my ABS light to do that. Switch it nice blue LED as well.
