1G cheap exhaust manifold?

I remember reading something about Pacesetter's cracking. I may be wrong though. Look around on the parts catalog and at slowboyracing.com

I know a lot of people with 1g's use the 2g manifold. It's even better ported.
 
Get a 2g manifold... Bigger than 1g, and cheap... And you can port it out if you want.

Dont go with a Pacesetter, the tubular headers crack from daily driving them on bumpy roads, unless you ceramic coat them, and properly braise(sp?) them, but if your going to do tubular and you will braise it, and ceramic coat it, then go DNP.

Is yours cracked? Port yours out and you should be set for awhile. Many ported 2nd gens have gone 10's

It turns-out that there is a clearance issue between this manifold and the bracket for the power steering pump - at least this is the case on 2g automatics. You will need to grind away some material from a portion of the power steering pump bracket in order for the manifold to fit. Once the manifold clears the bracket, it will bolt-up to the cylinder head just fine.
