cheap dsm but, not running

There is a cheap dsm in my area for sale. The guy put a new fuel pump on it because it wouldn't crank. It still will not crank unless you pour fuel directly in the manifold he says WTF. Anyone have any ideas on if it sounds like an easy fix, or what it could be?

i seen that same car on there, sounds like a relay. hey you wouldnt happen to be the guy trying to trade his firebird for a dsm on craigslist would you?

If it doesn't crank it's not a fuel problem but more like a starter or electrical problem. It's hard to say if it's a simple fix with little info. I'd say check it out and let us know what u find

i read the guys original description, the fuel pump isnt cutting on, so he went and paid 200 for a fuel pump to put it in and it didnt fix it, so im guessing fuel pump relay.

he probably means it cranks over just not kick off on its own, maybe he's just dumb and put the fuel pump in wrong or it is something small i say check it out for yourself and tell him to show you it cranks with fuel directly poured in.

no, i am not gonna trade for that car. I just mean't in general i am trying to find a decent preferably 1g awd, or fwd if i have too.
