alright, so i am routing my intercooler piping and would like to know if i can cut off this tow hook.

where i drew the red line, that is where i will cut, let you know that this is also the bottom of that plate which ties the unibody together.

will cutting off this section make the structural integrity bad? i know it will, but will this be a major factor in my car falling into itself? or falling apart while hanging hard corners on a track?

thanks

brian

Pic of backside would be helpful.

Kevin

i tried to take a picture of the back side, but the down fall of the iphone is that they don't take good pictures, but are very awesome at getting photo's uploaded.

the back side of that plate has the front crossmember that holds the radiator and also the side frame rail, but the two of them meet where the line is drawn.

i think i am going to cut it and tig a piece of steel around the cuts to reinforce it.

thanks

brian
