So I'm checking my air pressure at the shop and I usually give my tires a good rubbin here and there just to check the wear and tear on em.Today I came upon this.3 Tires are OK and one has a really uneven step on the inside. What could this be? Tie rods and ball joints seem ok, and control arm bushings look in order as well. Could it just be aligment? Haven't gotten one since I own the car.Imput is apreciated.thanks

P.s. car will be lowered in less then a month,I got sprint springs and agxs on the way. I just don't wanna fork out 400-500 bucks on tires, and then mess em up again.

Does it look like that all the way around? If so you definitely have an alignment issue or it is rubbing on something. It almost looks like it is rubbing on something becuase it is only one tire.

If your toe adjustment was way out you would have wear on 2 tires not just one. If it were camber you would have gradual wear not a huge step like you have.

Turn the wheel all the way to the locks and try to compress the suspension to make sure it isnt hitting anything cause I bet it is.

Either way, get the new springs/struts in and get it aligned anyway. You will obviously be looking into new tires too.
