Changing oil and nicked a hose, replacement?

Alright guys, I have a completely stock 95 2G. I was changing the oil, and as I was unscrewing the oil filter I nicked the hose behind the oil filter. If I leave it alone it is fine, but if I move or twist the hose my orange coolant starts coming out. Anyone know a specific part number or anywhere I can get the hose? I was just thinking of going to the dealer. Also, will I need to drain all the coolant before I change the hose? Here are a couple of the pics. The hose in question is in the middle of the pictures with the clamp around it. This is attached to the metal tube along the side of the oil filter housing, NOT the one that comes out the bottom. It comes out the side of the oil filter.

What do you mean you nicked the hose? Is it split anywhere? It looks to me like the clamp is in the wrong spot, it needs to be farther down towards the filter housing.. See the indent in the rubber hose that looks like the shape of that clamp... Thats where it needs to be. If the hose is in fact slit, you can take it off and go to AutoZone/Napa (preferably Napa) to get a new one. Make sure you get a few inches more than you need just to be on the safe side.

Yeah the hose is split. I was changing out the oil filter, and it was tight. So I stuck a screwdriver through the filter to get some leverage. I didn't count on the hose being behind the filter. And yeah the clamp is in the wrong place, I moved it to assess the damage.

Its the Mitsu part number for the part you wanted. Napa, etc... will just sell you some hose and you cut it to length. Either will work. Napa will probably be cheaper. Dealership will probably charge too much, but online has to pay shipping...

When you take the hose off coolant will come pouring out as it is one of the lowest spots in the system. Just have a clean bucket or tub ready to catch it. If the coolant looks alright (not dirty, have random things floating in it, etc.) you can most likely reuse it. If you question it at all parts stores carry antifreeze testers to check the freeze point of it.

Get it from a dealership or get a coolant hose from NAPA. Yes, you'll need to drain the coolant system before replacing that hose. I replaced mine without taking the oil filter out, it was a pain.

Just goto autozone an get a hose to replace it for 1 buck. If you got another car or a friends yank that hose off. And bring it to them. Those are standard size hose's. Nothing special for them. I just replaced me an I think it cost 1.30 for a foot. Of the .5" or .75" hose's.

When I did my turbo swap, I replaced all those hoses. I just bought some 3/8ths (I think) fuel line and a small pack of worm gears. There is no reason to goto the dealer for that, your getting the same piece of hose for 6 dollars more and less of it. 6 dollars will get you like 5 feet of it from the parts house. Besides, when you replace it you can put the correct coolant in your car. Orange is generally dex-cool, which is usually for GM products. Yours should be green

I replaced mine with dealer hoses. I preferred having pre-cut bent hoses instead of having to cut them myself for each hose. I also figured if the stock hoses lasted 80+ miles and 10 years on my car, I wouldn't have to worry about hoses for another 10 years.

FYI - I remember paying $10 for all my hoses.
