Okay, I managed to get the whole dash out. There's 2 nuts on the top of the heating unit I took off, and 2 on the bottom. Is there anything else holding this sucker in??? It barely moves and I'm getting aggravated. Not seeing a vfaq anywhere on this and Alldata, well, sucks. More like Somedata. Or very little data. Anyway, thanks to anyone who can help me out on it.

If it wasn't for my 4 year old daughter, I'd just bundle up.

I got it. Thanks though. The heater core had been leaking and made my car overheat over a year ago (before I bypassed the heater core), and it got so hot that the sound deadening crap on the firewall melted onto the core and that's what was keeping me from being able to pull off the heater unit. All I know though is that if it ever needs to be changed again, this is a job I'll pay the dealer to get done. Cause I hate doing this one.

I need to do this in a week or so because there is so much moisture in my car (and zero heat) that it's all freezing to the insides of the windows! I'm not looking forward to it, but thanks for the link. That should make the process a little less aggravating.
