Ok heres the problem I just got my timing belt replaced and i installed a lightweight pulley in there, Now the car idles low and the engine sounds like its running rich and crappy and it shakes. When u rev it to 2k it does not shake anymore. The next thing is that when I hit WOT and im making full boost it just jerks real hard and cuts out I think it might be fuel cut but I have not experienced it before, I put the 1g WG selenoid and for some reason i am boosting 16 psi, with the 2g selenoid i only make 14 psi but that still happens. I think it might be timing but i dont have a cam angle censor so dont know how to adjust it. I dont have a boost leak i know that and ive checked to make sure the vacum hoses are connected and they are, another thing the vacumm reads 14 or so now and before when it was normal it was around 22 at idle.

Who did the timing belt job? What parts were replaced with the timing belt? Have you double check the timing marks since completion of the job?

My money is on timing. As oldman suggested, check to make sure your timing marks line up on both the cam sprockets and crank. Incorrect timing will result in poor vacuum.

Was the pully that you installed on the crank sproket? If so is in undampened (IE: no harmonic balancer :nono: ). If so this could answer your vibration at idle.

You need to redo the timming if it is off. On the cam gears you need to have both of the "half moons" facing up, it is like a key way, there are also marks on the round outer part of the gear, those need to be horizontaly facing eachother like in the pic above. Now set you crank pulley to the Top dead center mark, this is marked on the timing cover as "TDC". Install the belt with everything in that position. Make sure everything is straight, just being close is the same as not being right.

The only way for fix the timing is to redo it like 2gAWDTalon said. Regarding your undampened pulley, I suggest your read this article and consider going with a Buschur Racing under drive pulley (only one i know of that is dampened and is of lighter weight than stock).

Just an FYI, but Fluidampr also makes lightened crank puliies with a harmonic damper. Dan Kasun (project_tsi) runs one on his stroker setup.
