I just replaced the plugs to 8.5mm and put in NGK 7ES plugs and put 850cc injectors in. Running 18g turbo. Now the car won't start. It seems like it wants to but it never gets there. Need help please! :ohdamn:

Are you tuning with anything? You might be flooding the engine out with those injectors.

ECMLink V.2 but I guess it erased the settings when I pulled the negative battery cable off. I haven't used the Link yet since I just got the car. I wanted to do some maintenance first. The previous tune was with the 850's though.

I tried pushing and holding the gas pedal down for a few seconds to try to fill up the gas line from where I disconnected the fuel rail completely. The A/F ratio was showing 12-14 while I was trying to start it. I'm not really sure what the problem is. All the electrical connections are plugged back in. It looks like the spark plug wires are right and the plugs are brand new.

So you replaced your 850s w 850s or not? If not I'd put your old injectors in and see if it starts and work backwards from there. I would say start with plugs and wires because they're easier but I doubt that's the problem

The "gas" pedal doesn't add fuel, it opens the throttle. The fuel pump should audibly start as soon as you turn the key, even before the starter turns. The ECU adds fuel based on the airflow measured at the MAS.

The AFR on your gauge isn't accurate unless the engine is running. Oxygen sensors measure the amount of oxygen left in the exhaust, if the engine isn't burning the fuel, it isn't using oxygen and your wideband will read very lean.

You need to compensate for those injectors if you aren't.

Plugs gapped to 0.028"?

Yeah the plugs are gapped to .028. It got dark and I dropped a damn insulater and cant find it. I'm going to throw the stock injectors back in when it the sun comes back out. I did my plug wires via the diagram at vfaq.com. Can I adjust the fuel trim on the larger injectors through DSMLink without the car actually being started? That way if it wouldn't start just because it was too rich I could just cut it back and then start the tune after it started running.
