the first thing you need to do is find out what trouble code it's throwing. that will at least tell you what general system of engine is giving problems. once you know what code it is it will be a lot easier to diagnose.

Well I bought a logget but its not working ill try to get a shop to run the code tomarrow

that would probably be your best bet. you can also use a test light to get the codes off of yours. it only works on 1g's though. it will blink out the codes for you. if you decide to go that route there are several threads on here that will give you plenty of info how to do it.

Now on my logger I notice that my TPS isn't reading until about 3/4 throttle and the hight percentage it will go to is like 98.6.

Could this mean my TPS is bad?

The fact that your TPS doesn't read until 3/4 throttle means that your TPS is bad. The WOT reading doesn't mean squat.

ok thanks I would pull the codes but I cant get anyone to pull then and i was told my logger doesnt have that option

You should be using MMCd 1.8g as a logger on your 1G. It will pull codes.
You also need to improve your sources of information either by searching more here or finding better informed friends.

i have the exact same problem. i took it to the shop today to pull a code and got
-TPS signal out of range
-Intake air temp circuit problem
-baro pressure sensor circuit

could a bad MAF be causing this as well?
can a bad MAF cause the TPS to function incorrectly?
and is the Barometric Pressure Sensor also in the MAF?

So your getting 13, 14, and 25 error codes?

Both the IAT and Barometric Pressure sensors are inside the MAF.

Your problem could be the MAF, wiring, or it could be the ECU.
Have you been working on the car before it started having problems.

Is there some reason why your hijacking cruisintalonawds' thread?
