Hey I was wondering, I really need to smog my Talon and it's been due back in January. I'm sure it's the cat. It's probably been there it's whole life back in 91. Well I have the cat from my Integra and it's probably only been used like one year. Do you think I can use it for the Talon? Does it matter? A cat is a cat, but the only thing I'm not sure about is the size of the cat. The Talon's cat is about one inch longer than the tegs and it's a little bigger in diameter as well. The tegs cat might not have enough catylic to convert.

Why not just replace your Talon's catalytic converter? You'll need it eventually again.

For one thing, I'm short on cash and I'm throwing away my teg. I should just use the tegs cat. I've already took my tegs cat out and welded it to my Talon's cat. My talons cat was really bad. I took my teg to smog and it failed because the egr doesn't seem to be working well. It did pass the CO this time which it failed last time. So I know the cat helped.
