Ok guys I have a 95 eagle talon tsi fwd its a automatic its starts and runs great in park and in neutral but when put into drive its starts too stutter then it eventually dies if the gas petal is not appiled.. I think the torgue convertor is locked up but I am not sure and if it is can I buy a new one ??????

if your torque converter was locked up and you put the vehicle in drive typically it would instantly stall or the vehicle would start to take off on you. have a check engine light ? hows it run if your giving it gas? misfiring ? made any repairs lately ?

I just put in a new trans and went through just about every single issue that could arise, including a bad torque converter.

If it is having issues driving, stalling, slow acceleration, etc...then its probably locked up. Torque converter shutter is a symptom of a dying or dead torque converter, also if you hear grinding noises like bad ball bearings or something.
