Hey guys, i have a question and i couldn't find an answer by searching. At least not a direct answer. I need a new cat, my dilemma is I can't find an o.e.m. cat (haven't checked with a dealer yet, but I know it wont be cheap). So its looking like i might have to go with a high flow cat. So, I ask, will a high flow cat pass emissions? And if anyone knows where to get a o.e.m. one besides ebay and the dealer if you could tell me where. I'm really not looking for performance because I'm getting a new car, but the eclipse needs to pass inspection real soon. In the meantime, I'm going to keep looking. Any help is always appreciated.

you could just buy an o2 simulator for 25 bucks then you will never have to worrie about inspections again

a place called exileracing.com makes direct replacement 2.5 inch high flows. there $110. there out of them right now, im waiting for one, but email the guy names chris in the contact department and ask him

Exile is temporarily not carrying their high-flow cat. They moved to a new shop and are not finished setting up for production. I was looking at getting that cat too.

ya there new shop is like 20 minutes from me, so i went to go see it, and i couldnt find the door . it was a big building with a bunch of shops and other stuff in it. and i found one of there doors, i saw an eclipse with a front mount inside, but it didnt look like a public door. so maybe they just dont have a show room set up yet.
