Has anyone ever heard of a 1g cas ticking? Its almost like lifter tick but not as extreme its possibly lifter tick but ive narrowed it down to near the cas. Oh and this is a 1g cas 90 model, car runs fine cas is adjusted properly.

I've heard a 1g CAS tick before. It was a lot of years ago, but I want to say I think it was installed 180* off.

Check that, and make sure it's properly centered over the opening. I remember the one I was working on would wobble up and down when the bolts were loosened slightly; something was out of alignment. Sorry I don't remember the details better, but it was over ten years ago.

Appreciate the reply. I think my CAS went out on me today. I was just cruising around breaking in the new motor and out of nowhere the car starts to misfire and act like it was out of gas. So now it apparently has gas but does not have spark. Timing is on (mechanical) and ignition was until i played with the cas to get it to fire. Could my car have ran fine for a day with the cas 180" out? Im fairly certain i installed it correctly.
