Im about to finish my build on my car and i need a fuel filter and i was going to get a fuel lab 818 but i was wondering what kind micron filter i should get with that?

If your going with an aftermarket filter, I would get the 40 Micron SS element to replace the paper element. Simply because you can clean it and it's less likely to break down with long term exposure to E85. However, most run the OEM type filter and just replace it often to avoid issue, which is my plan. So you honestly can't go wrong either way.
