Well the bolt is broken off in the block. The problem is, I can't drill this bolt out. We tried putting slots in it to hammer it out. Heating it up, and all that jazz. Nothing. I don't know what to do anymore to get this sucker out. Should I maybe make a bracket with a pin to hold that in place? Or just use 1 bolt?

Here is a pic of it:

You can't use one, you need both. You are going to have to heat it up and drill it and use an EZ-out to reverse it out. Isn't that hard to drill them, you just need good bits. Not wood drill bits. Only other option I see is to set a nut on top of it, fill it with weld, and back it out like a regular bolt.

Happened to me too. Here's what I recommend. I'd drill it with a small drill bit, and make sure you're right in the center. Try an easy out and if that doesnt work, tap the small hole and get a small grade 8 bolt and red loctite it in there. Wait for it to dry then wrench it out giving you your original hole. If all else fails drill it out, tap it, and replace the bolt.

If you can, use a left-hand drill bit. If you are lucky, it will pull the bolt out and you won't have to use an extractor.

Tried a bunch of stuff, still nothing. Used a cobalt drill bit, and nothing. I'm just going to make a bracket and if it breaks, screw it. Get a new block I suppose then.
