I thought I would post a technical finding of my G4CS swap as it relates to the ELHS. Anyhow I attached photos of the stock a/c bracket that came with this G4CS motor (from an '89 Sonata). It's obviously different from both the 1g and 2g dsm versions, but it looks like it'll accept the 1g/2ga intermediate shaft bracket bolt pattern. Haven't made up my mind on keeping a/c, but it looks like you can still use this bracket as a spacer for proper shaft alignment purposes. If not, I'll have to resort to using a spacer in its place. I'm in the process of hunting down 1g components to confirm. Okay, maybe this helps someone.
