man, that looks pretty good. I wish I could do that to mine. Oh, and I live like 5 min from you LOL

once i get a little better at it maybe ill do some stuff 4 other people next im going to the shifter console , and a 1g stock wing ill post when there in progress

the only part im comfortable doing is gas doors so far if ## interested in 1 just let me know ill do 1 real cheap

Yea, I would love to get some interior pieces done. What kind of supplies do you use?

depends on the part more complex stuff i vaccum bag and easy parts like gas lids and headlight cover i just do a wet lay up carbon is aircraft grade 2x2 twill and resin is max clr -hp i would also be willing to show u how to did it if u want to learn

got it off of ebay and its good quality stuff real esy to work with

yea, maybe in the spring you can do some pieces for me and even show me alittle about it. That would be awesome!

Im just wondering, would it be possible to to the arm rest on the center console? This is for a 2g, not sure if the 1gs have the same. But the arm rest has foam under the material, so its not solid. Im guessing the carbon fiber would make it solid and not able to be pushed in?

just for the record i dont use super glue i use the resin as a base and let it set to a tack and lay the carbon fiber this is a better method than super glue u cant cover the whole piesc in super glue the resin cover every spot on it

when i do my next piece ill do a how to for all u do it yourselfers or anybody who wants to try it

Thus far the parts look great! A lot of people have no idea how hard it is and how much work is involved when wrapping something with carbon fiber or even fiberglass.
I think you need to get better pics or closer with more detail, but thus far you're doing a great job bro!

So the center of the dash, mine's all peeling up on the rubber part, think about molding the covered part of yours and making a mold out of it?
Would be a super lightweight copy, just need to get it mounted and have mounting holes for whatever will be inside of it.

could be done but would take a bit of thing to get the mounting parts it would be something worth trying

heres an in car pic of the a/c console
