Both HKS and Greddy have turbo kits that are CARB happy.....but from what I've read, the Greddy 18G kit is over priced, as is the HKS T28 Sport upgrade. I started this post seperate from my one about building legal, because I'm not asking whether these kits are legal, but given my situation, I'm trying to figure out which would be worth looking into more, if they even are. I've seen the HKS listed for around 1600, and about 2,000 for Greddy. Stupid to pay that much for a name and CARB legality, but, what can I do? I'd really prefer just opinions about which kit would be better, instead of the immenient thrashing I'll probably get for being new and wanting to play by Cali's rules.
