the car had no electrical problems previous of this maft gen2 installment . now i got the 1g wiring diagram from fullthrottlespeed.com. Then pulled out my ecu , unplugged the 3 harness's , spliced all the wires in and before pluging the ecu back in, double checked my work and then had somebody with better wiring skillz then myself double check it aswell.
everthing checked out with the diagram so i hooked everthing back up , put the key in the ignition and turned it . The dash lights come on the fuel pump pumps fuel , the battery has 12volts . but the car doesnt turn over . all i get is 1 click from what i believe is the injector relay behind the radio and when i turn the key back it clicks again. now i checked all of the fuses they are good. i dont know where to look know , maybe i shorted something out in the ecu ? all help apriciated

What is the starter doing? Check the grounds on the battery, and the starter. The starter wire could be so worn it isn't getting enough juice from the battery to turn the flywheel. I though mine was good, started fine, did an engine rebuild, and the car wouldn't crank. Turns out the starter wire was worn. Replaced it, and car turned just fine. Check out the starter.
